Dragon badges may be claimed by any archer for achieving the relevant score on the Portsmouth round only. Scores may be from either round in a Double Portsmouth and are the same for triple faces. To be eligible for the award, the round must be shot in an Open competition under GNAS rules, although there does not have to be a qualified Judge present. The tournament can be shot anywhere in the UK. There is only one style of badge, which therefore covers all bow styles and age groups. A colour may be claimed only once.
Dragon badges are free to WAA members making the claim for the score achieved.
WAA archers wanting Dragon badges below the score achieved may purchase them by sending a cheque for £2.00 per badge plus £1.00 p&p. The p&p charge is not required if badges are purchased at the same time as the higher award.
Non WAA affiliated archers wishing to make a claim may do so by sending a cheque for £3.00 per badge plus £1.00 p&p.
Clubs may purchase a full set of badges for promotion/display purposes for £15.00.
